CPMA Board of Directors Nominations

The nomination period has concluded.

Five Regular Member * Board of Director positions are open for nomination. 

Why run for the board?

Time Commitment

  • 3 Year Term
  • Monthly Board of Directors meeting via Zoom
  • Winter/Spring Board of Directors In-Person Retreat 
  • CPMA Annual Conference 
  • Members at Large may expect to spend 5-10 hours monthly working on CPMA committee obligations and outreach. Officer position time commitments vary.

Financial Commitment

  • Board member obligations related to CPMA may be financially supported by an employer or paid for personally. CPMA does not pay for or reimburse board members for travel, hotel, or meals.

Election Timeline

  • August 5: Call for Nominations Open
  • September 5: Call for Nominations Closes
  • September 9: Voting Begins
  • September 16: Voting Ends
  • September 24/25: Official Election Results Announced at 2024 Annual Conference & Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina
  • October-December: Board Member Transition Meetings
  • January 1, 2025: Newly elected Board Members begin 3-year term.
* Regular Members are defined in CPMA's bylaws as representatives of municipalities and other government bodies, parking authorities, boards, bureaus, commissions departments, colleges, universities, airports, hospitals or agencies and other institutions having similar responsibility for the establishment, operation, maintenance, control or direction of parking and/or transportation assets or services.
