CPMA 2023 Annual Conference & Trade Show

The Carolinas Parking & Mobility Association (CPMA) is accepting presentation submissions for our 2023 CPMA Annual Conference. The CPMA educates and motivates all parking and transportation professionals in the Carolinas. Our annual conference is a great platform to provide these educational and motivational sessions.

This year’s agenda will offer concurrent sessions throughout the conference with presentations centered around two different professional educational / development paths:
- Management / Leadership
- Front-line training
We encourage our CPMA members and other industry professionals to share your expertise and experiences. The process is simple:
- Choose a presentation that matches one of the suggested topics below or propose another topic directly related to the parking or transportation mobility industry.
- CPMA members currently in good standing who submit will be given first consideration
- Submit a presentation using the online Call for Presentations Form
- The submittal evaluation process occurs in June and July
Submittals will also be reviewed by IPMI and NPA for possible qualification for CAPP and/or CPP points.

A few other points to mention:
- All presenters are required to register for the conference; however, registration fees are waived.
- All presenters can register at CPMA member rates
- Presentations which spotlight or promote a specific product or service are not considered
- Presenters do not receive speaking fees or expense reimbursement
Speaker/Presentation Evaluation Process
CPMA’s goal is to select presenters who can effectively communicate their message to a diverse audience. Each presentation will be evaluated using the following criteria:

Well written session description indicating the session will be informative and educational

Relevance and Practical Application of Material

Session content is broad enough and relevant to appeal to a diverse audience (i.e., municipal, university, airport, hospital, and other operating environments, etc.)

Ethical

The presentation is not sales-oriented and commercial in nature
|
Quality and Presentation Skills of Presenter
|
The speakers’ biography provides sufficient evidence that he/she is well qualified
