2026 Call for Volunteers
The Carolinas Parking & Mobility Association is seeking engaged volunteers to serve on several standing and advisory committees. Committee participation is a great way to support the association, build professional connections, and help shape CPMA programs and initiatives.
Communications and IT Committee Focus: Communications, branding, and digital presence Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with CPMA communications related to membership, events, and programs
- Supporting communications for the Annual Conference and Trade Show
- Assisting with website updates and development initiatives
Conference Planning Committee Focus: Planning and execution of the 2026 Annual Conference & Trade Show in Greenville, SC, September 15–18, 2026 Responsibilities include:
- Participating in monthly virtual conference planning meetings
- Completing assigned tasks identified during planning meetings
- Assisting onsite at the conference, including:
- Designing and supporting lunch program PowerPoint presentations
- Staffing the registration table
- Assisting with attendee guidance between sessions
- Introducing educational sessions
- Supporting other conference-related needs as they arise
Education Planning Committee Focus: Educational content for conferences and webinars Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating conference and webinar presentation submissions
- Assisting with webinar planning and delivery, as needed
- Serving as a point of contact for speaker support during the in-person conference
Vendor Outreach Committee Focus: Engagement with affiliate and vendor members Responsibilities include:
- Working with Vendor Outreach Chairs to design and implement outreach programs
- Supporting initiatives that strengthen value and engagement for CPMA affiliate members
Membership Planning and Outreach Committee Focus: Member engagement and growth Responsibilities include:
- Working with committee chairs to plan and implement programs that benefit current members
- Supporting outreach efforts to attract and engage prospective CPMA members
Finance Committee Focus: Financial health and sustainability of CPMA Responsibilities include:
- Assisting CPMA leadership with short-term and long-term financial planning
- Sharing best practices for managing association budgets, expenses, and reserves
- Supporting strategies that promote financial sustainability and transparency
President’s Advisory Committee Focus: Idea generation and strategic support Purpose: While the Board of Directors serves as the decision-making body for the Association, the President’s Advisory Committee is an idea-generating and strategy-focused group that proposes new ideas, identifies opportunities, and recommends initiatives that support CPMA’s mission. Responsibilities include:
- Generating and developing ideas for new programs, initiatives, or improvements
- Making recommendations to the Board of Directors
- Assisting with implementation of approved ideas, when authorized by the Board
